Born to our parents in different Environment, Religion, Castes and Creeds...still we grew to be almost like each other, we were all the same...!
There was a time when we all were carefree and free spirited. That was d time when status or class didn't matter...We offered unconditional Love, Help, Kindness..Compassion was unknown then.
Of greed, ego or insecurity was a aloofness of sorts. There was d last streaks of innocence that is now all lost...!
As we grew up and slowly drifted away..time constrained and suddenly one day in different directions we all flew away...All of us promised to stay in touch. First letters stopped..then phone calls, messages or any other form of contact together.
You think we all forgot each other...some of us stayed back and a few flew back to be together..we all still meet sometimes...share a laugh or two..shed tears in d memory of a Now Cherished Past....!!
A long lost friend rings my number...surprised I listen, no time to ponder..He tells me you are in town. How about a Reunion this weekend...?
Come, the weekend and we meet...dressed up for the night. I hope your eyes sparkle when we greet...laughter & conversations find their way into d night....!
